Welcome back Whitaker Rainbows!  We look forward to a wonderful year filled with personal and academic growth!

A message from our new Assistant Principal Mrs. Lee!

Dear Parents/Guardians:

I am excited and truly honored to be the Assistant Principal at Whitaker Elementary School. I look forward to working with our Principal, Ms. Carpenter, as well as our faculty and staff, to make every effort necessary to make sure every student achieves success. Working together, I am confident that we will continue to provide our students with a truly challenging and enriching school experience.

I have been a teacher and an Active Learning Leader in this area for the past eight years. I feel very fortunate to be expanding my role in the community of which I am proud to be a part. The elementary school years are a critical time for students. Everything that happens during these years will have a lasting impression on their development. In collaboration with Principal Carpenter, one of my goals as an Assistant Principal is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school environment that is safe and respectable so that your child can receive the best possible academic instruction. I am confident that our school will continue to be a place where our students can learn and grow academically and socially.

Feel free to stop by and say hello, as my door is always open. If there is anything I can do to assist you, please do not hesitate to call.

Whitaker Rainbows honored our Veterans with a special Veteran's Day celebration.  Ms. Yale's class performed "Proud to be an American" and Ms. Pascale's class performed "America the Beautiful" in Spanish and English.  A special lunch was also provided by our excellent cafeteria staff. Thank you to all who came out and supported our Veterans!
